I' ve decided to buy a gun for home defense, what type should I get?

Once you' ve taken the requisite safety courses, consider purchasing a revolver. They offer many benefits over other handguns, namely in ease of use and reliability. Due to the way the gun functions, if one cartridge does not fire, the next pull of the trigger will bring in an entirely new one. Especially if you don' t use the gun recreationally it is likely to sit idle for long periods of time and over time moisture and changes in temperature can possibly affect the cartridges (although it is unlikely).
